An ergonomic evaluation of an existing medical buggy was carried out using Siemens NX CAD and SAMMIE ergonomic modelling. The positioning of the vehicle's components were assessed with regards to the accessibility and comfort of the medic, driver and patient.

After evaluating the existing buggy design, the positioning of the vehicle's components were adjusted to improve its ergonomics. This proposed design also included aesthetics improvements, as illustrated below.
